deacon's ministry
The Deacon’s Ministry is a group of men, who faithfully serve the congregation as servant leaders.
The role of the deacon reflects the ultimate in spiritual greatness since Jesus said the true measure of
greatness is in one being the greatest servant of all. The deacons’ primary role is to serve God and serve God’s people.
The duties of the deacons are to assist in meeting the spiritual, physical, material, and temporal needs of
the members; to serve as a support group to the senior pastor; to guard the unity of the spirit within the
church; and to perform other duties and responsibilities delegated and prescribed by the senior pastor and/or church.
